Transcript: "Marriage of Popular Manchester Young L[overs]. The marriage of Miss Christina Werner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Werner, of Manchester, and Sidney Weir, of Port Richmond, Staten Island, was solemnized in the Church of the Ascension at West New Brighton, Staten Island, on Thursday afternoon, July 25, at four o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ascel Harrower. Lionel Werner, of Manchester, a brother of the bride, acted as best man, and Miss Matie Mack, of Syracuse, was maid of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Weir are now on an extended [bri?]dal tour through the New England States, and on their return will make their home at No. 53 Hatfield [Avenue? Lane?], Port Richmond."
