Christina and Kate/Katie (Katheryne) were the children of Charles Werner and Catherine Werner (who died in 1893). It is believed that Charles Jr. was Catherine's child as well. This photo has been dated to 1898, however, this would not correspond with the age of the children depicted (assuming their identifications are correct). Note: needs verification. If these are indeed the correct individuals, these are the only known images of Charles Jr. and (1 of 2) of Katheryne. Another photograph of Katheryne as an adult would be needed to confirm. She moved with her family to Shortsville, NY within a few years of this photo and later married Ralph Kipp. Photograph by Griffin and Colburn, 117 Public Square, Wilkes Barre, PA.
